Enjoying Time In Nature & Preparing For Our Road Trip

The last few weeks have been spent doing lots of studying, making preparations for my new business, decluttering the house, spending time with the boys and preparing for our road trip around Europe.

We've spent lots of time in nature, in the park, at the farm and in the garden, enjoying time together and taking lots of photos. I've enjoyed moments where I can simply take a deep breath and meditate for 5 minutes among the trees.  This is where I feel most alive and most peaceful.

So in less than a month we'll be setting off on our trip, beginning on 1st August. We'll be setting off at 3am for the shuttle, arriving in France later that morning. We're spending an evening in Northern France, then driving down to the South Of France, where we'll spend 3 days on the coast, near Montpelier. We then head for the Cul De Turini, into Italy where we'll be visiting Tuscany, Lake Garda, Venice and Verona, for a week, before heading to Austria and Germany.  We're spending a night in a log cabin in Germany, which i'm really excited about, and we'll be ending out trip in Belgium, where we'll spend 4 nights in our favourite place, Bruges.

We'll be travelling home on Luke's birthday, and he's very excited that he gets to wake up in Bruges on his birthday, and have a special breakfast in our favourite restaurant.

We're all very excited.  Travelling is something which i'm planning to do lots more of, and this is a really good start to achieving that dream.  I'd love to travel the world, taking photos of all the places I visit.

My big dream is to visit India, to do my yoga teacher training.  Next on my dream list is Bali, followed by San Fransisco. There are so many other places i'd love to visit - Marrakesh, Kenya, New York - too many to mention, and I know if I keep believing, I can make it happen.

Over the next few weeks i'm going to be planning some food ideas, so that I can continue juicing and eating mostly raw whilst abroad.  I'll have lots to share when I get home, and i'll have a much better idea of how easy, or hard, this will be. I'm taking my juicer and some stainless steel bottles, so I can make juices every morning and take them with me to drink throughout the day and i'm going to be taking some raw snacks with me, such as nuts, seeds, dried fruits, raw chocolate etc.

So I have lots to think about and organize, and I can't wait to set off on our journey.  It will be an amazing experience for all of us.
