Simple living on the Norfolk Broads
It was such a lovely, relaxing time and was so nice to have lots of family time together.
The boys really enjoyed living on a boat and quickly got to grips with mooring it up every time we stopped. Luke loved getting the chance to drive the boat too, and so did I for that matter.
Dylan enjoyed relaxing after a busy year of revising and exams (which we found out he's passed when we got home so it's off to college now to do his A-Levels!)
I really loved living simply, only having our essentials and a few other items with us. I took my journal and a few of my favourite books and spent many hours writing, reading and feeling inspired.
My other essential was my camera and I just loved taking photos of everything from the trees, flowers and the rivers to the wildlife, birds and the sea as well as lots of family photos. There's nothing more relaxing than photographing nature, it's definitely my passion.
I loved living simply, taking photos and being by the water. It's definitely a way of life that i'd be happy living.
There's nothing quite like waking up surrounded by nature, water and peace and quiet (apart from the geese making a lot of noise next to the window!)
Living a simple life is definitely the way forwards...
