Travelling On Raw

Eating raw whilst travelling was one of the main challenges for me on our recent trip around Europe. I didn't expect to be able to eat completely raw, but I knew I wanted to eat healthy, nutritious foods with as much raw as possible. I'm intolerant to dairy, wheat and gluten so I had to avoid these completely too. I thought i'd share some of my experiences and tips for anyone planning on eating raw whilst travelling. First of all I took some supplies with me. These were: My juicer and stainless steel bottles Raw chocolate Homemade raw muesli - raisins, dates, sunflower seeds and almonds Bags of cashews and pistachios Packs of dried fruit Herbal teas Jars of olives I also took mini cartons of rice milk with me to go with my morning cereal.  I can't eat hotel breakfasts as they usually consist of bread and cereal, so I took my muesli and rice milk with me each morning and ate that whilst the boys ate theirs. Our Road Trip Around Europe

We arrived home from our road trip late on Saturday evening, after 18 days of driving through France, Italy, Austria, Germany and Belgium. It was an amazing experience for all of us, although the boys got a little homesick towards the end. We visited some beautiful places, and had fun speaking different languages. Luke loved swimming in the Mediterannean, whilst Dylan and Dave enjoyed driving up the Stelvio Pass in Italy, and visiting the Nurbergring.  I loved visiting beautiful cities such as Venice, Verona and Bruges, improving my French and learning Italian and German. I bought some lovely herbal teas in Bruges which I have been trying out since getting home, and a gorgeous Lapis Luzuli crystal which I bought in the French Alps in the little shop that the owner of the apartments owns.
