Christmas Preparations

We've had a very busy, but lovely, week making preparations for Christmas. 


On 1st December, we always put up the decorations.  This has been our family tradition since the boys were very small.  So we put on our favourite Christmas songs and had a lovely time making the house look magical.





The result - two very happy boys!

My Photography Project

I've had a week off work this week and time for a much needed rest. There's been so many amazing things happening this year and i'm feeling so grateful for everything. The only down side to this is that I don't always get the chance to follow my creative passions as much as i'd like. So this week has given me the chance to reconnect with my love of photography and i've decided it's time for a new creative project.  So many things have inspired me to do this. I've been reading some of my favourite photography books and a few days ago I watched one of my favourite films Yes Man. In this film Zooey Deschanels character goes out for a run at 6am every morning with a group of people and her camera, taking photos and getting exercise. I love this idea and i'm planning to create my own version of this. I want to spend more time outdoors with my camera. Beauty In The Lakes & Eating Raw In London

It's been a while since I posted an update as life has been so busy with lots of exciting things happening. At the end of September we spent 3 days in the Lake District for our friends wedding. It was a beautiful place and we had a really lovely time.  We stayed in a gorgeous little house which was part of a B&B in a little village near Ullswater.  On the first morning, the boys went outside to explore and found a deer in the field next to us. They spent ages watching it, whilst Luke also made friends with the B&B owners cat. Dylan managed to get a few photos which look amazing. He was so happy. The wedding was beautiful and the boys looked very handsome. We had a lovely time, ate lovely food, took a book ride around the Ullswater and met some lovely people. The Juice Academy

Well I arrived home late last night from Jason Vales Juice Academy and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.  Jason was so passionate and enthusiastic, and a genuinely lovely guy.  He clearly loves what he does, and wants to help as many people as possible discover juicing.   Everyone on the course were so lovely too, and i've made so many friends who share my passion for natural health.  They were all so supportive and encouraging.   I managed to overcome a few fears whilst I was there too, speaking in front of an audience and speaking in front of a camera.  I was really nervous, but as the days went on I felt more and more confident. Jason has asked me to be in his next documentary, which he is filming next year.  He wants me to share my story of losing weight, and overcoming illnesses.  I am so excited and still can't quite believe it.  It's an amazing opportunity.   Since I arrived home...
