Beauty In The Lakes & Eating Raw In London

It's been a while since I posted an update as life has been so busy with lots of exciting things happening. At the end of September we spent 3 days in the Lake District for our friends wedding. It was a beautiful place and we had a really lovely time.  We stayed in a gorgeous little house which was part of a B&B in a little village near Ullswater.  On the first morning, the boys went outside to explore and found a deer in the field next to us. They spent ages watching it, whilst Luke also made friends with the B&B owners cat. Dylan managed to get a few photos which look amazing. He was so happy. The wedding was beautiful and the boys looked very handsome. We had a lovely time, ate lovely food, took a book ride around the Ullswater and met some lovely people. Simple living on the Norfolk Broads

We arrived home a few weeks ago after a week on the beautiful Norfolk Broads (my laptop broke just after we got home hence the delay in blogging about it). It was such a lovely, relaxing time  and was so nice to have lots of family time together. The boys really enjoyed living on a boat and quickly got to grips with mooring it up every time we stopped. Luke loved getting the chance to drive the boat too, and so did I for that matter. Dylan enjoyed relaxing after a busy year of revising and exams (which we found out he's passed when we got home so it's off to college now to do his A-Levels!) I really loved living simply, only having our essentials and a few other items with us. I took my journal and a few of my favourite books and spent many hours writing, reading and feeling inspired. My other essential was my camera and I just loved taking photos of everything from the trees, flowers and the rivers to the wildlife, birds and the sea as well as lots
